Siding and dry wall what beautiful sites!

So, our siding went up Friday and Saturday and there is just a little by the front window left.  It looks better than I thought it would. I mean who really likes siding anyways. I was worried with the shingles not being black how it would look, but it turned out ok, now on to worrying about the shutters and front door being black. I might change to brownish, but uhh who wants that either.
They said they fixed the plum and flush corners Cliff wanted, but who knows because they added the siding covers before we could see it again. Oh well, I also wasn't too thrilled at the close up look of siding, but hey, at least I don't have to repaint it in a few years when we move, woooo hhooooo.

They finally poored the concrete for the front porch, and no I didn't get a picture because I was distracted by the boys and the open window. Humm, I wonder how we got pics inside?
 Front small living/greeting room.
 Kitchen and morning room.
 Kids bath.
Bonus guest room. Kilee is still asking if she can have this room. She has the biggest of the kids rooms, but still not satisfied with the size and style.
Master bath. Mom isn't satisfied with the size of this room, but sacrifices had to be made.
Master shower and toilet. Yeah, can shut the door on Cliff and still do my make-up yeah.
Just a temporary railing. Kandon's room, then closet, then Kilees, then kids bath.
 Basement tv area.
This is the unfinished media room, we plan to turn into a spare bedroom before we sell it. Well I wish for much sooner, but we will see.
This is the back side. All siding, no stone, but we plan on adding a deck.  We just didn't feel it was worth the price they were asking.

About a month to go, painting, and we can move in and clean out from the military housing. Yeah, let the moving begin again. (Sarcastic, yet, totally can't wait!)

  1. That looks great! It seems to have a lot of space for everything and anything that you'd like to have inside the house. That's right, you can have a deck afterwards, and you can always get a better deal.

  2. The sidings look really nice! The other parts of the house are big, but I'll never get tired of maintaining a pretty hose like that. It looks like cleaning the sidings regularly will become a new habit of mine!
